Run Auckland is a series of 6 running events hosted at purpose picked locations to offer all types of runners a challenge.
Starting with five 10km/5km/Kids Dash events staggered across Auckland, the Run Auckland Event Series finishes with the 6th final event with a Half Marathon/10km/5km/Kids Dash at Metro Park, Millwater.

With a finish line right in the heart of downtown Tauranga, Running Events, Shoe Science Tauranga and the City of Tauranga promise an unforgettable experience on race day – for runners, walkers, dashers and spectators alike.

The Harcourts Cooper & Co Devonport Half Marathon is Race One of the Shoe Science Auckland Half Marathon Series, a season-long challenge featuring five awesome events at five stunning locations.
Event distances go from the superb Half Marathon all the way down to a 2km kids’ dash, so there’s an option to suit everyone and no-one gets left out. All courses embark on a scenic, tour of this wonderful peninsula.

Run the Point features a 5km loop course for adults which hugs the coastal trail around the peninsula, under the watchful eye of the mighty Greenhithe Bridge. The course is flat and fast and distance options are 5k, 10k or 15k for runners and 5k or 10k for walkers. A shorter 2km course is available for the kids. Every finisher of Run the Point receives a beautiful commemorative finisher medal.

Magical Omaha, less than an hour – and about a million miles – away from the hustle and bustle of Auckland City plays a most gracious host to the Omaha Half Marathon.
The event is based in Rahui Te Kiri Reserve in southern (or “new”) Omaha, surrounded by multi-million dollar beach pads and billion dollar views. All events start on Omaha’s pristine and peaceful suburban roads and finish with a winding run through the reserve with cheering spectators hanging over the fences Tour de France style!

The peaceful rural village of Coatesville, on the fringe of New Zealand’s largest city, is a tranquil oasis from the hustle and bustle of Auckland. Only 15 minutes north of the Harbour Bridge, you can enjoy the very best of New Zealand’s rural scenery on a traffic free course that offers stunning views all the way back to Sky Tower.
Event distances go from the superb, single lap, Half Marathon all the way down to a 2km kids’ dash, so there’s an option to suit everyone and no-one gets left out. All courses feature beautiful rural scenery on closed roads.

The event is based in the enormous Te Puru park mid way between Beachlands and Maraetai. Its a 40 minute drive from the centre of Auckland city and with plentiful parking and a beach to cool off on post-race, it couldn’t be better.
The course hugs the coastline of this stunning part of the City of Sails and offers unsurpassed views of the vast Waitemata Harbour. Run or walk over boardwalk paths, next to stunning, serene beaches and through two hidden gem Regional Parks for a truly unique event experience.

Formerly the Albany Lakes Summer Series, Run Albany is a reboot of an old favourite and the Grand Finale of the Harcourts Cooper & Co North Shore Run Series. The course is mostly flat and very fast and distance options are 5k, 10k or 15k for runners and 5k or 10k for walkers. A shorter 2km course is available for the kids. Every finisher of Run Albany receives a beautiful commemorative finisher medal.

The event base is Selwyn Domain, right in the heart of Mission Bay. The race starts on Tamaki Drive, heading first to Mechanics Bay with the city skyline as a sighter before heading back along the stunning waterfront ribbon towards St Heliers.
Finishers will feel the spray from the iconic Mission Bay fountain as they cross the line, earning themselves a beautiful commemorative finisher medal and … probably … a new PB. And if you’re not quite up to the half marathon just yet, there’s still the 10K Classic, 5K Fun Run & Walk or 2K Kids’ Dash to aim for. Yep, you guys get a medal too!
